The Center for Education Research Partnerships (CERP), created in 2005, is part of the National Technical Institute for the Deaf, a college of Rochester Institute of Technology. CERP conducts research and works with schools and organizations on projects concerning the development and education of deaf and hard-of-hearing students of various ages and in diverse educational settings. In addition to hosting conferences and workshops on improving opportunities and outcomes for deaf students, CERP helps partners to evaluate programs and services for deaf and hard-of-hearing children, both nationally and internationally. CERP research and other activities are supported by external contracts and grants.
