Introduction to Adobe Flash CS4
Attend the five-day Introduction to Adobe Flash CS4 workshop March 1-5, 2010 at the PUENTE Learning Center in East Los Angeles for FREE.
The workshop will be held daily from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM. Lunch and daily refreshments will be provided.
Workshop Description:
Adobe Flash CS4 is an extremely powerful authoring tool to create engaging presentations and interactive web pages. In this workshop, you will learn to create impressive animations as well as interactive web pages. You will also build navigation controls, optimize movies for web viewing, and receive an overview of Action Script programming for more advanced interactions that can be used for database applications, web-based video games, and XML. This workshop aims to help you build a solid foundation on the most essential tools of Adobe Flash and XML.
Topics:
Work with text and shapes and manipulate their behavior and appearance.
Build layers for different effects.
Work with frames and motion/shape tweening.
Create interactive elements to a Flash movie including rollovers and menu
expansion.
Import video and audio clips and examine potential issues in Flash
Optimize and publish Flash movies for the Web, CD or other medium.
Develop scripts using Action Script to respond to user actions such as allowing the user to control the website animations/movies.
Prerequisites:
Workshop attendees should be familiar with personal computers and working with the Windows operating
systems. Some experience or understanding of Adobe software is helpful, but not required.
