Workshop Description and Goals

Attend the 5-day Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional workshop July 13-17, 2009, at a cost of $500 at NTID/RIT in Rochester, NY. The workshop will be held daily from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.

Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional has become an essential application in business, education, government, and even personal communication workflows. This hands-on workshop with guided learning activities will cover concepts for making, editing, reviewing, and managing PDF documents along with making PDF presentations, building PDF forms, adding security, and optimizing in Adobe Acrobat 9 Professional. Participants do not need to have experience with Adobe Acrobat 9. This is a comprehensive workshop which will enable a beginner to develop intermediate- to advanced-level capabilities.

• Creating, organizing, and managing PDF files

• Creating and using PDF forms

• Editing, commenting, and reviewing PDF files

• Adding multimedia content and using PDF files for presentations

• Securing and optimizing PDF files

Prerequisites

Workshop participants should be familiar with personal computers.
