Attend the five-day PHP 6 and MySQL 5 workshop July 13-17, 2009 at a cost of $500 at RIT/NTID in Rochester, NY. The workshop will be held daily from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
PHP is a server-side scripting language widely used by professionals in Web development. With the combination of PHP and MySQL, a popular open-source database engine, you can create incredibly dynamic Web pages. Attendees will receive hands-on training in PHP programming language, and an introduction to MySQL database administration, SQL database language, and Web development principles during this workshop. Upon completion of this workshop, attendees will be able to create powerful database-driven Web sites.

Participants are required to know HTML & CSS for this workshop. Programming knowledge is preferred, but not required.

Brian Trager is an instructor and a deaf faculty member in the Information and Computing Studies department at Rochester Institute of Technology's National Technical Institute for the deaf. He has a bachelors degree in Marketing and a master of science in Information Technology from RIT. Brain has been teaching and tutoring computer and information technology courses including programming, multimedia, Web development, and networking to associate and bachelor level students since 2003.
