Attend the five-day Introduction to ASP.NET workshop July 7-11, 2008 at a cost of $500, at NTID/RIT in Rochester, NY. The workshop will be held daily from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Active Server Pages or ASP, as it is more commonly known, is a technology that enables Web developers to make dynamic and interactive Web pages. This workshop will introduce participants to the Visual Studio .NET environment to rapidly create dynamic ASP .NET applications to the Web.
Topics
Prerequisites Workshop participants should be familiar with HTML and should have knowledge of Microsoft Visual Basic .NET or at least one other programming language such as C, C++, JAVA, Basic, Pascal, etc. Note : If you have taken the DIIT workshop "Introduction to Microsoft Visual Basic .NET", you are encouraged to attend this workshop.
Joseph Stanislow - Workshop Leader Joseph Stanislow is an Assistant Professor and a deaf faculty member in the Information and Computing Studies department at the Rochester Institute of Technology’s National Technical Institute for the Deaf. Joe has been teaching and tutoring computer and information technology to BS students for over 7 years. He has a Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering Technology from the Rochester Institute of Technology and a Master of Science in Computer Science from Stevens Institute of Technology. Before joining the NTID faculty he worked for several companies as an electrical engineer, a physical designer, and a computer programmer for over 20 years.
