Attend the five-day Web Site Development Using Dreamweaver workshop June 16-20, 2008 at a cost of $500, at RIT/NTID in Rochester, NY. The workshop will be held daily from 8:30 AM to 4:00 PM.
Adobe Dreamweaver CS3 is a very popular industry standard software application used by professionals to develop web sites. In this workshop, you will learn how to design, plan, and create a web site, prepare images and graphics for the WWW, insert different kinds of hyperlinks, insert media like movies, and upload the web site to a server. An introduction to some advanced techniques such as forms and Cascading Style Sheets will also be included. Participants are encouraged to bring digital images, photographs, or multimedia to use in building their own web site.
Prerequisites
The Web Site Development using Dreamweaver CS3 workshop is a comprehensive workshop for individuals that already have basic computer skills and some experience in using the World Wide Web. This workshop will be taught in an Apple Macintosh computing environment.
David Hazelwood - Workshop Leader David Hazelwood is deaf faculty member and an Assistant Professor in the Arts & Imaging Studies department. He has taught at NTID for 26 years and has worked in photolabs in New York City, North Carolina, and Connecticut. He has taught a wide variety of courses in photography, color, network publishing, digital media publishing, image manipulation, vector graphics, and wide format display imaging. David’s expertise is in critical color evaluation, computer and printer technologies, web development, and image manipulation.

Kurt Stoskopf - Workshop Leader
Kurt Stoskopf is an Assistant Professor and a Deaf faculty member in the Arts and Imaging Studies department in the National Technical Institute at Rochester Institute of Technology. Over the last 9 years, Kurt has taught courses in web design, computer graphics, graphic design, and traditional media drawing. He has a Bachelor's of Fine Arts degree in Graphic Design, and a Master's of Fine Arts degree in Computer Graphics Design from RIT. Kurt teaches full-time at NTID and owns and runs a freelance illustration studio that he has been running for the last 11 years.
