This workshop will allow participants to develop intermediate to advanced-level solid modeling skills using the SolidWorks software package. During workshop, participants will have hands-on experience using SolidWorks to convert 2D designs into 3D models as well as creating technical drawings. Participants will create animation with “assembly motion” using their 3D models during the workshop.
Prerequisites
This workshop is designed for individuals who have little or no computer aided design (CAD) experience. Participants do not need to have experience with Solid Works. The workshop will be taught in a computer lab environment and participants should have basic PC computer skills.
