Title: Flashlight Evaluation Project

Description:
Stephen Ehrmann, Director of the Flashlight Project, will discuss Flashlight, its uses, applications and services. The Flashlight Project is part of the American Association of Higher Education’s Teaching, Learning and Technology affiliate. The Flashlight Project helps institutions study and improve educational uses of technology while gaining control over the time, effort and money these applications require. Findings can be used to validate good practice, sport problems, and improve teaching learning with technology.

Title: Pedagogy and Technology
Day/Time/Location: Thursday/1-2PM/60-3237
Facilitator(s): Jeff Porter
Description:
Participants will list two of their most important assumptions about teaching and learning and then describe some ways these assumptions are reflected in actual day-to-day teaching practice. Then participants will describe how technology can reinforce or clash with their assumptions. Participants will work in small groups to collect everyone's thoughts. A listing of responses will be collected and posted on the web.
