What is the Instructional Technology Consortium?

On January 11, 2008, the ITC was charged by Chris Licata, Associate VP for Academic affairs. The ITC charge delineated ITC's role and it's relationships to the NTID Professional Development committee and the Departments of Educational Design Resources (EDR) and Technical Support Services (TSS) and associated budgets.

The Instructional Technology Consortium (ITC) is a faculty-led advisory committee with the general responsibility of exploring how technology can be used to enhance instruction, supporting student learning, and recommending professional development programs targeted towards faculty and staff focusing on furthering the use of technology.

In responding to the Charge, ITC's immediate task was to develop a recommended Plan of Work for AY 2008-09, for submission to EDR, TSS and the Associate VP for Academic Affairs.
