ACADEMIC YEAR 2012/2013
My name is Ashleen Evans and I am a fouth year student. My major is Business Accounting and I am currently in the College of Business. I am from Lebanon, Indiana. My career plans after college are that I want to become an Accountant and I want to try to take the CPA (Certified Public Accountant) exam. I am also planning to become a soccer coach for middle school or high school students. The reason that I join this club as a member and officer is that I am a NTID Business Club president and I want to help the students to realize that there are opportunities to be involved in the community. I do not mind about becoming a Vice-President for this club, because I can work together the NBC and Personal Finance. I will also announce both of the club's events in both general meetings. I just love to help people so they will learn new information about Personal Finance.
I was born and raised in Michigan. I attended Michigan School for the Deaf (MSD) in 2008. I attended Washtenaw Community College for two years as a Math and Science major. I transferred to NTID at RIT in the fall of 2012. It is my goal to enroll in the College of Liberal Arts as a Criminal Justice major. I joined this club, right after my arrival at NTID, so that I can teach students to be responsible for their financial issues. I experienced some financial difficulties myself. It is my goal to be sure that all students on the RIT campus become successful with their finances.
