collects, analyzes and distributes data on drugs and crime, with special
emphasis on the needs of state and local government. Offers access
to a library and specialized bibliographic data bases, including federal
drug sources.
National AIDS Clearinghouse

Operated by the Centers for Disease Control (HHS):
provides information and data on the relationship between drug abuse
and AIDS. English and Spanish-speaking reference specialists provide access
to more than 6,000 educational materials and databases.

provides information on national and community programs for preventing
drug abuse and drug trafficking in public and assisted housing. Materials

provides information about drug use, treatment support groups, and
services. Information counselors can discuss problems and provide referrals
to State and local drug treatment facilities and programs.

provides telephone consultation, resource referrals, networking services,
and publications to assist in planning, developing and implementing comprehensive
drug-free workplace programs.

established to bridge the gap between service providers in the substance
abuse field and the disability field.

among the New York State Office of Alcoholism and Substance
Abuse Services (OASAS), Rochester Institute of Technology, and the Monroe
