The State of Nevada Bureau of Alcohol and Drug Abuse does not provide
services for substance abuse, but rather has contractual arrangements with programs
to purchase treatment "slots" for patients. The Bureau does not have specialized
staff or maintain special devices for deaf persons, but has contractual arrangements
to provide these services and has access to services and devices provided by
the Developmental Disabilities Planning Council on an as-needed basis.
