RIT named to list of top 200 colleges for Native Americans

Global Village Opens

Another new on-campus residential and commercial space has opened. Global Village provides a global environment for RIT students as they prepare to enter the global community, travel overseas and join a culturally diverse workforce. To support this goal, and the entrepreneurial and global missions of RIT, each residential and commercial location of Global Village represents different regions from around the world, providing students with an international living experience alongside their studies and time at RIT. Additionally, the complex and plaza offers and supports year-round activities and events providing students a source of entertainment and community.

RIT sees record enrollment into the College of NTID

Despite trying economic times, and uncertain enrollment predictions for colleges across the country, Rochester Institute of Technology welcomed a record-breaking 1,522 students into the College of NTID, one of the eight colleges at RIT. This year’s number represents students from 49 states and the District of Columbia looking for a career education that will put them on the path to success. This group includes students enrolled in the American Sign Language-English Interpretation program, Master of Science program in Secondary Education, and deaf and hard-of-hearing students in associate, bachelor’s and master’s degree programs.  They join nearly 16,000 hearing students at RIT.
