RIT breaks ground for new ice arena

A new athletic venue and multi-purpose facility soon will rise on the RIT landscape. University leaders and dignitaries broke ground on October 19, 2012 on the 4,150-seat Gene Polisseni Center on the south side of campus. Construction will continue for two years with an opening planned for the 2014­­­-2015 season for the Division I men’s and women’s hockey teams. More.
