RIT/NTID enters the world of mobile apps

RIT/NTID has created educational materials in various formats: books, videotapes, CDs, DVDs and online subscriptions. Now, the college has entered the world of mobile applications with the ASL Dictionary and Inflection Guide for iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad (an Android version is in development). This on-the-go version features 2,700 signs organized alphabetically and by category, 650 sentences that demonstrate how signs change to convey different meanings and more. At $1.99 , the product is being purchased by individuals throughout the U.S. and in countries like Japan, Sweden, Australia, France and Hong Kong!
