RIT men’s lacrosse ends historic season with loss

The RIT men’s lacrosse team led 13-10 heading into the fourth quarter but could not hold on, losing to Stevenson University 16-14 in the NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse Championship. More.

RIT’s Saunders College of Business named top business school

cob_copy1Rochester Institute of Technology’s Saunders College of Business is recognized in the top 100 programs listed in the 2013 Best Undergraduate B-Schools rankings by Bloomberg Businessweek.

RIT’s business school offers seven undergraduate programs including Accounting, Finance, International Business, Management, Management Information Systems, Marketing and New Media Marketing. A cooperative work experience is required of all business students in their junior and senior year, and students also are encouraged to study abroad as part of their educational experience. More.

RIT men’s lacrosse team plays for NCAA Championship

For the first time in the 46-year history of RIT men’s lacrosse, the Tigers will play for a NCAA Division III National Championship. The Tigers will face Stevenson University on Sunday, May 26 at 4 p.m. at Lincoln Financial Field in Philadelphia, Pa. for the 2013 NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse Championship. More.

It’s a new era of success and pride for Rochester Institute of Technology athletics. Both hockey teams compete in NCAA Division I, and RIT, a member of the Liberty League, also has 22 teams excelling at the Division III level.

Experiencing the future at Imagine RIT

More than 30,000 visitors came to RIT’s campus on May 4, 2013 to tour the more than 400 interactive exhibits that comprised the sixth annual Imagine RIT: Innovation and Creativity Festival. The festival showcases the talents and entrepreneurial creativity of RIT students, faculty and staff. More.
