RIT Men’s Lacrosse Wins Liberty League Championship

For the third straight year, the RIT men’s lacrosse team sits atop the Liberty League Conference. The top-ranked Tigers defeated second-seeded Union College 13-11 in the title game May 4 at Tiger Stadium. The Tigers won their fifth conference title overall and third-straight Liberty League Championship, earning the automatic berth into the NCAA Division III Tournament. RIT, ranked No. 1 in the nation, will play the winner of Ithaca College and Montclair State in the second round of the 2014 NCAA Division III Men’s Lacrosse Championship on May 10 at Tiger Stadium.
