RIT introduces new interdisciplinary majors

New interdisciplinary majors are offered at Rochester Institute of Technology:

Supply Chain Management BS: The Saunders College of Business now offers a degree in partnership with the Kate Gleason College of Engineering and the College of Liberal Arts. This growing new field focuses on providing its graduates with the knowledge to develop and implement efficient global supplier systems. More.

Digital Humanities & Social Sciences BS: Working in partnership with the Golisano College of Computing & Information Sciences and the College of Imaging Arts & Sciences, the College of Liberal Arts offers a cross-disciplinary major preparing students for jobs in government, education, and industry where new and emerging technologies are applied to the collection, management and analysis of digital information. Applied Modern Language & Culture BS: This new major is designed to prepare its graduates to apply their knowledge of language and culture to a technical or professional discipline. Students select one of three languages (Chinese, Japanese, Spanish) and choose a second major of study or a minor in a technical or professional discipline, such as computing, information technology, engineering, business, health sciences, the arts, or the sciences.
