What We Do
The Ombudsperson will:
- Listen to an individual's concerns and issues
- Explore all the issues impartially
- Help individuals explore and analyze options, strategies, procedures, and resources that might help in moving toward resolution
- Explain and inform individuals of relevant policies, procedures, and resources that might help in moving toward resolution
- Coach individuals through the conflict management and resolution process
- Facilitate various dispute resolution processes, such as information gathering, informal inquiries, informal mediation, and/or negotiation
