What We Don't Do
The Ombudsperson does not:
- Have administrative decision-making authority.
- Serve as advocate or participate in formal grievances or other formal processes
- Provide legal advice or psychological counseling, but can refer visitors to on- and off-campus resources
- Serve as an “office of notice” for the university, but can refer visitors to these resources
