Summer Seminars & Intersessions

The lazy daze of summer never comes to Osher as we are always on the move. The popular Summer Seminar Series offers four great programs each summer.

Each program consists of a two-day program. The first day, Guest Lecturers come to Osher to talk about the topic of the theme and upcoming destination visits. Their talk will prepare the members to get the most out of the field trip they take to the destinations later that week.

Each spring a complete listing of the upcoming Summer Seminar Series offerings will be posted.

Intersession Program Offerings

Intersession program offerings are between-session expeditions to local museum and cultural attractions of interest. Quite often these half a day excursions are accompanied by lunch after the tour.

Our recent visits have included the George Eastman House, Memorial Art Gallery, Strong National Museum of Play and others.
