
Scholars Program
Scholars, as used in the MCAS Program, reflects an aspirational goal. It reflects the way we carry ourselves as members of the RIT community. We think, study, communicate, and navigate the campus with purpose. We plan for success and place scholarship as our highest priority. We begin with the end in mind.
The MCAS Scholars program is designed using best practices to create a community of scholars that maximize their individual potential academically and professionally. MCAS scholars plan for success and place scholarship as their highest priority.
Through one on one advisement, the MCAS Scholars Program will provide:
- Enhancement of personal, academic, professional and social skills necessary for future success
- Development of the leadership assets necessary for career, society and community responsibility
- A positive, supportive, and empowering environment to complete educational goals and promote community building
- Access to professional organizations and conferences
- Recognition for academic excellence
- Career and academic advisement
- Social Activities
- Networking Opportunities
- Preferred access to research opportunities
