Managing Director, RIT-Rochester General Health System Alliance
Cindee Gray was appointed managing director of the RIT-Rochester General Health System Alliance in 2009. Gray was formerly assistant vice president of Government and Community Relations at RIT. She has been with the university for 24 years.
In her role as managing director, Gray serves both organizations and works with the Joint Committee on Affiliation. Cindee is the first point of contact for Alliance collaborations and is responsible for managing projects, agreements, budgets, community outreach, communications, strategy, etc . Cindee provides the bridge that connects members of both the RGHS and RIT communities for research and education partnerships as well as opportunties for shared services.
In addition to spearheading major RIT on-campus events throughout her career, Gray has provided strategic leadership, fundraising, event management and pr/marketing expertise for other community events and initiatives including the Empire State Games, Young Women of Distinction Scholarship Awards, Athena Awards, Finger Lakes FIRST Robotics Competition , Stonehurst Capital Regatta and New York Special Olympics State Summer Games. Cindee served as a Loaned Executive and chair of United Way of Greater Rochester's Coordinator Council, past president of Henrietta Chamber of Commerce and currently as a member of the RBA Board and president of the Women's Council of the Rochester Business Alliance.
Cindee earned an Executive MBA from RIT in 2007. She also holds a B.S. in Organizational Management from Robert's Wesleyan College.
