The President's Roundtable was formed in 2001 to provide a means by which RIT's executive leadership and the President can benefit from the advice and counsel of a small select group of RIT's most successful alumni and friends. Participation in the Roundtable is by invitation. The Roundtable meets twice annually, once in the spring and once in the fall.
The Roundtable consists of 52 active members. Of the 52 members, 20 reside in the Rochester area, while the remaining members reside outside of the Rochester area: Other NY (11), Arizona (2), Florida (1), Illinois (2), Massachusetts (3), Michigan (1), North Carolina (1), Ohio (1), Oregon (1), Pennsylvania (1), Rhode Island (1), Texas (2), Virginia (3), Greece (1), and Switzerland (1).
Dr. Destler chairs the Roundtable and a member of the RIT Board of Trustees participates. Dr. Destler describes several strategic issues and/or initiatives for RIT's future and seeks the counsel of Roundtable members about how they can be addressed.
Summaries of the Roundtable discussions are shared with the RIT Board of Trustees, to benefit its deliberations. The Roundtable is a valuable source of guidance in charting RIT's future.
