The President's Roundtable was formed in 2001 to provide a means by which RIT's executive leadership and the President can benefit from the advice and counsel of a small select group of RIT's most successful alumni and friends. Participation in the Roundtable is by invitation. The Roundtable meets once annually, usually in the spring.

Dr. Destler chairs the Roundtable and several members of the RIT Board of Trustees participate. Dr. Destler describes several strategic issues and/or initiatives for RIT's future and seeks the counsel of Roundtable members about how they can be addressed.

Summaries of the Roundtable discussions are shared with the RIT Board of Trustees, to benefit its deliberations. The Roundtable is a valuable source of guidance in charting RIT's future.
