3rd Annual Effective Access Technology Conference

November 10, 2015

About the Conference

This year marks the 25th anniversary of the passing of the Americans with Disabilities Act (ADA)—legislation committed to giving equal opportunity, full participation, and independent living for people with disabilities. Rochester Institute of Technology has long been committed to advancing access and inclusion for people of all abilities by developing innovative technologies.

There is a wide range of technologies on the market or in development to help people—whether they are chronically ill patients, aging seniors, veterans, deaf and hard-of-hearing individuals, people who are blind and visually impaired, or individuals with physical and cognitive challenges.

RIT is just one of the many organizations seeking to provide accessibility through technology development. RIT faculty and student researchers want to share their work and meet others who are developing technology as well as those in need.

RIT’s 3rd Annual Effective Access Technology Conference will bring together all these stakeholders to showcase groundbreaking technology and share ideas and solutions. There will be a breakfast, keynote speakers, exhibits, posters, awards, a luncheon, e-NABLE workshop, and an access technology product/service plan competition. We hope you can join us on Tuesday, November 10, at the Gordon Field House on the RIT campus.

Registration has closed.  Only registered attendees will be allowed access to the conference.
