Brian Aull

Technical Staff Member, MIT, Lincoln Labs

Brian F. Aull is a Technical Staff Member in the Advanced Imaging Technology Group at MIT Lincoln Laboratory. He received a B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering from Purdue University in 1977 and a Ph.D. in Electrical Engineering from MIT in 1985.

At Lincoln Laboratory he has developed multiple-quantum-well spatial light modulators and optoelectronic switching devices. His current research focus is the development of arrays of Geiger-mode avalanche photodiodes integrated with high-speed CMOS timing circuits for laser radar, low-light-level imaging, and adaptive optics.
