Dan Newman

Program Manager, ITT Space Systems Division

With more than 20 years experience, Dr. Newman is an expert in imaging technologies, including algorithms and detector systems for remote sensing applications. Dr. Newman holds a B.S. degree in Physics/Math from the University of Chicago, and a Master's degree and Ph.D. in Physics from the University of Rochester.

From 1986 to 2005, Dr. Newman worked for Eastman Kodak in a variety of roles. In 1991, he became the Chief Engineer for Digital Radiology and Cardiology Systems. Following, Dr. Newman led the Airborne Flight Test group as the program manager and manager of the Electronics & Sensors Products division. Today, Dr. Newman is a program manager at ITT Space Systems Division, responsible for the Cinema Sensor System.
