Center for Computational Relativity and Gravitation

Center for Computational Relativity and Gravitation
The CCRG is a multidisciplinary center dedicated to advancing the understanding of the most extreme physical phenomena in the universe, where the strongest gravitational and magnetic fields, the very dense, relativistic, conditions of matter and radiation can only be studied through accurate mathematical modeling, supercomputing, and visualization.

The Center for Education Research Partnerships is charged with establishing and joining research partnerships concerning development and learning among deaf and hard-of-hearing students across the lifespan and in various educational settings.

Semiconductor and Microsystems Fabrication Laboratory

Semiconductor and Microsystems Fabrication Laboratory
The SMFL provide state-of-the-art facilities and support for undergraduate and graduate programs in microelectronic engineering, microsystems, and related disciplines. The facility also provides industrial affiliates in the semiconductor and microsystems industries with applied solutions in microdevice design, process development, microsystem integration, and prototype fabrication. The main portion of the facility is 10,000 sq. ft. of class 1000 cleanroom with a bay and chase configuration. Additional laboratory space includes a class 100/10 MEBES E-beam laboratory, an excimer laser laboratory, a surface analysis laboratory, a chemical-mechanical planarization laboratory, and an electrical characterization laboratory.

Venture Creations Incubator

Venture Creations Incubator
Venture Creations is RIT's business incubator that assists aspiring entrepreneurs in establishing new businesses. The incubator provides resources to propel the growth of start-up ventures. Venture Creations is also home to the NYERDA Clean Energy Incubator and assists with technology planning, validation, and testing for start-up clean and renewable energy companies.
