RIT conducts research dedicated to understanding the nature and evolution of the universe in which we live, in conjunction with the Department of Physics. Our research encompasses development of state-of-the-art instrumentation, observation and interpretation, theoretical physics and modelling using state-of-the-art computation and mining of large astronomical datasets.
