The Global Village

RIT is committed to providing our students with state-of-the-art housing, dining, and lifestyle options. Global Village aims to provide a global environment for RIT students as they prepare to enter the global community, travel overseas, and join a culturally diverse workforce. To support this goal, and the entrepreneurial and global missions of RIT, each residential and commercial location represents different regions from around the world, providing students with a global living experience along side their studies and time at RIT. Additionally, the complex and plaza offers and supports year-round activities and events providing students a source of entertainment and community.

Global themes will be expressed in a variety of ways through use of materials, patterns, colors, lighting, fabrics, finishes, décor, design, architecture, and photography throughout all residential and commercials spaces.
