The Center for Student Innovation hosts Research and Innovation Symposia on the last Friday of the Summer and Winter quarters.
The Symposia are organized by and for students, faculty, and staff from all disciplines. They celebrate the achievements of young researchers and innovators, as well as their ability to communicate their work and its significance, in terms that can be understood by non-specialists.
External judges help award prizes to the best talks and posters in a variety of categories. The prizes enable students to advance their research or present it on the national stage.
For some students, the symposia serve as a cap for many weeks of study and research; for others, the symposia provide a springboard for future research, innovation, and entrepreneurship.
