Capabilities
CEMA offers a variety of electronics packaging services, including:
• Prototype Board Assembly
• Analytical Evaluation of PCB Assemblies
In addition to fabrication and testing capabilities, the CfD has access to sophisticated simulation software to predict the performance of devices, from fabrication processes to performance of a completed detector. Simulations can describe all of the processes available in the RIT Semiconductor and Microsystems Fabrication Laboratory (SMFL) by building a physics-based model in 3D space of a device from initial substrate to completed device.
Equipment
In addition to approximately a dozen computers with various processing and graphical capabilities, the lab also uses the following equipment:
Software:
• Access Grid Software
Capabilities
The DIRS laboratory allows for research into the following areas of imaging:
• Hyperspectral imaging (HSI)
• Multispectral imaging (MSI)
• LIDAR/LADAR applications
Capabilities
Through exploration, collaboration, and computational simulation in game worlds and virtual spaces, the creation of systems, prototypes, and interaction models for new and emerging media, and the production of public works and dissemination of findings, the lab facilitates research initiatives in fields such as:
Equipment
The equipment may be used for both ergonomics and safety applications. Some of the equipment includes:
• Electromyography System (electrodes, preamplifiers, amplifiers, and
accessories)
