Google Faculty Research Awards Information Session

Google Research Awards are one-year awards to universities to support the work of world-class full-time faculty members.  Google has two funding rounds in 2014, with deadlines of April 15 and October 15. 

The intent of the Google Research Awards is to support cutting-edge research in Computer Science, Engineering, and related fields.  More details can be found here and on Google’s FAQ page.

Google US/Canada PhD Fellowship Program

Nurturing and maintaining strong relations with the academic community is a top priority at Google. The Google U.S./Canada PhD Student Fellowship Program was created to recognize outstanding graduate students doing exceptional work in computer science, related disciplines, or promising research areas.
