Digital Imaging and Remote Sensing Laboratory

Capabilities

The DIRS laboratory allows for research into the following areas of imaging:

• Hyperspectral imaging (HSI)

• Multispectral imaging (MSI)

• LIDAR/LADAR applications

• Polarimetric imaging (PI)

• Scene/target signature characterization

• Exploitation algorithm development

• Synthetic scene generation and system modeling

• Electro-optical system calibration

• Airborne data collection

• UV/VNIR/SWIR Varian Cary 500

• MWIR/LWIR Surface Optics SOC 400T

• MWIR/LWIR Surface Optics SOC-100

• Modular Imaging Spectrometer Instrument (MISI)

• Wildfire Airborne Sensor Program (WASP)

• WASP-lite
