The Imaging Systems Lab is a digital photo lab located in room 3090 on the third floor of the Frank Gannett Memorial Building at RIT. It supports research in photography and printing. Its mission is to provide a realistic and functioning professional-quality service bureau to support the educational, photo, and digital output needs of RIT students, faculty, and staff.
Capabilities and Equipment• Durst Lambda 76 PLUS printer Capable of producing extremely high quality output on silver halide photographic print materials and generating a maximum print size of 32″ wide by 100 feet long • Kreonite and JOBO “dip and dunk” equipment Capable of C-41 (color negative) and E-6 (color positive) processing • Kodak/Noritsu DLS 2921 mini lab Capable of luster or glossy prints from digital files or film, on photographic paper ranging from wallet size to 12″x 18″ • Epson Stylus PRO 9800 printer • HP Designjet Z3100ps GP Photo printers • Canon iPF8000 • Canon iPF8100 • HP Color Laserjet 9500 printer Capable of producing high quality color prints. • FASTBIND Elite XT book binder Capable of producing hard and soft cover books. Hard cover books are offered in portrait 8.5″x11″ and landscape 11″x8.5″ sizes
