Limited Submission: NIST Advanced Manufacturing Technology Consortia - Program Planning Awards Program (AMTech)
Synopsis. NIST is soliciting applications that establish new and strengthen existing industry-driven consortia that identify and support basic applied research on long term, pre-competitive and enabling technology development for advanced manufacturing. These consortia address major technological barriers that inhibit the growth of advanced manufacturing in the U.S.; identify and prioritize research projects supporting long term industrial research needs; engage in a range of eligible activities including but not limited to creating new or updating industry-driven, shared-vision technology roadmaps; and catalyze the development of a technology infrastructure and American excellence in advanced manufacturing.

Proposals. Submission of Pre-Applications is required. Full proposals are by invitation only. RIT may submit only one pre-application proposal as a lead organization. There is no limit on the number of proposals RIT may participate in as a partner organization.
Internal proposals are limited to one page and should address the address the elements described in section IV. 2. (2) of the solicitation.
Internal proposals should be sent to firstname.lastname@example.org by 5 p.m. on Friday, August 22, 2014. Preapplication proposals are due to NIST by Friday, September 5, 2014 through Grants.gov. Full proposals are by invitation and are due on October 31, 2014.
