Nurturing and maintaining strong relations with the academic community is a top priority at Google. The Google U.S./Canada PhD Student Fellowship Program was created to recognize outstanding graduate students doing exceptional work in computer science, related disciplines, or promising research areas.
RIT may nominate up to two submit a maximum of two student nominations for fellowship consideration. Faculty wishing to nominate students should submit nomination packages to Hector Flores, dean of graduate studies, by January 10, 2014. Nomination packages should include the student’s cv and a brief statement about their proposed research.
Google will not accept nominations directly from students. Nominations and materials are due to Google February 1, 2014. Please see http://research.google.com/university/relations/phd_fellowships.html for full details on the fellowship program.
