Microsoft Research PhD Fellowship Program
The Microsoft Research PhD Fellowship is a two-year fellowship program for outstanding PhD students nominated by their universities. To be eligible for this fellowship, you must apply during your second or third year of PhD studies. Eligibility Criteria and Limitations
Applicants for the Microsoft Research PhD Fellowship Program must be nominated by their universities, and their nominations must be confirmed by the office of the chair of the eligible department. Direct applications from students are not accepted. Up to three applications are permitted per eligible department and up to nine are permitted university wide.
Internal Applications and Deadlines
PhD program directors must notify Hector Flores, Dean of Graduate Studies, about applicants by Friday, September 27, 2013. Notification should include the student’s cv and a letter from the student’s advisor. Dean Flores will make any necessary determinations about eligibility should interest exceed available slots.
Approved applications are due to Microsoft on October 9, 2013 using the application tool on their website.
