NSF Nanotechnology Undergraduate Education

Synopsis.  This solicitation aims at introducing nanoscale science, engineering, and technology through a variety of interdisciplinary approaches into undergraduate engineering education. The focus of the FY 2014 competition is on nanoscale engineering education with relevance to devices and systems and/or on the societal, ethical, economic and/or environmental issues relevant to nanotechnology.

Limit.  RIT may submit only one proposal to this program.  An individual may serve as the Principal Investigator or co-Principal Investigator on no more than one proposal.

Internal Applications.  In a concept paper of no more than two pages, please address the elements in Section V. A. of the program solicitation.  If a competition is necessary, a review team will use this concept paper as the basis for the decision.

Deadlines. Send concept papers to david.bond@rit.edu by 5 p.m. on April 11, 2014.  The deadline for full proposals is May 27, 2014.
