Battery Prototyping Center

The Battery Prototyping Center (BPC) at Rochester Institute of Technology focuses on the development of emerging energy storage technologies through a partnership between RIT and  NY-BEST Consortium. BPC is made possible by financial support from NYSERDA, Empire State Development, and SoLith. and features a 1000 ft2 dry room. The dry room is split into two rooms with one side containing the pouch cell assembly equipment, and the remaining space is available for other moisture sensitive experiments and future expansion. BPC works closely with the NY-BEST Commercialization Center to ensure quality and reproducibility in the performance of the cells.

Brinkman Laboratory

The 3,000 square foot Brinkman Machine Tools and Manufacturing Laboratory is a state-of-the-art facility devoted to advanced manufacturing research and education, and includes capabilities in advanced machining, rapid prototyping, direct-write printing of materials, and metrology. Partnerships with top companies have enabled RIT to set a new standard in education and training for students and industry.

Golisano Institute for Sustainability

The Golisano Institute for Sustainability, or GIS, is a multidisciplinary academic unit at RIT whose mission is to undertake world-class education and research programs in sustainability with major foci on sustainable production, sustainable energy, sustainable mobility and ecologically friendly information technology systems.  GIS provides a wide range of services to Venture Creations companies.

Center for Integrated Manufacturing Systems (CIMS)

The Center for Integrated Manufacturing Systems (CIMS) at Rochester Institute of Technology (RIT) helps manufacturers remain competitive in the global marketplace through its work connecting applied technology to analytical research practices. CIMS is a dynamic collaboration of in-house technical experts, as well as academic, industry and government resources.

Printing Applications Laboratory

The Printing Applications Laboratory leverages Rochester Institute of Technology's comprehensive collection of print/imaging equipment, laboratory instrumentation, and the expertise of RIT's world renowned faculty and technical staff to provide industry clients with empirical approaches to control and improve the quality of their products and expand the knowledge of industry professionals.
