Digital Lobe is developing technology that will allow personal data and financial transactions to be transmitted in a secure manner using wireless devices. Reflecting the synergies of a business incubator, the idea behind Digital Lobe evolved out of discussions between two existing incubator businesses (Lightforce Technology and nFocal). The company is now in the process of developing a prototype to demonstrate its concept as well as making contact with manufacturers of mobile devices that might be interested in using this technology in their product.
