Advanced Document Imaging (ADI) grew out of consulting work originally done by the RIT Research Corporation for the United States Census Bureau. When the incubator replaced the Research Corporation at 125 Tech Park Drive, ADI, LLC was formed to continue this work. During this time period, they have employed over two dozen students with two ultimately being hired as permanent employees. They have also engaged a number of RIT faculty as consultants and one currently is a member of the ADI board. ADI's products and services include forms design, printing quality assurance, forms data capture testing and evaluation, and proprietary Digital Test Decks. Beginning in 2007, ADI began marketing to other government and commercial clients in the forms processing business.
