Welcome (back) to RIT! RIT receives a number of phishing attacks each year, some disguised as delivery confirmations, declined payment notices, expiring email accounts, and updates from banks. Some of the phishing attacks are targeted at RIT account holders; others are more general such as the one below:

NEVER PROVIDE YOUR PASSWORD IN RESPONSE TO AN EMAIL MESSAGE!
REMEMBER: RIT will NEVER ask for your password through e-mail.
