Joe Sciandra CAST Senator
Hey! My name is Joe Sciandra, I am a 3rd year Manufacturing Engineering Technology major. I am from Livonia, New York. Here is a little bit about myself; I am a brother of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity where I have served as Service chair, and I am also a member of the Student Advisory Board for the RIT Leadership Institute and Community Service Center. I have also been an Orientation Assistant for the past two years for New Student Orientation. Serving others is what I am extremely passionate about and I am glad I have joined SG to represent the CAST community.
I am amazed at the opportunity given to me to join the Student Government family here. I took over the job last spring after the previous senator went on coop. I didnít think that I would be given this amazing chance and experience but I love it. I immediately decided that this was something worthwhile and decided to run for the position for this academic year.Given that CAST is one of the largest and most diverse colleges here at RIT I am willing and ready to be the voice.
If you have anything you would like to discuss, or you just want to hang out feel free to send me an email and we can meet up for lunch or just swing by the SG office (Campus Center, Bldg 3-1710).
My office hours will be posted as soon as the official schedule is made. I love meeting new people and would love to hear your ideas and concerns to help make our college the best it can be!
I hope everyone has an amazing first semester here at RIT!
