Administrative Advisor: Stephanie Paredes
Hola! I have been blessed to have been with RIT since 2009. Recently, there was a partnership formed with the Office of Diversity & Inclusion and Center for Campus Life to create synergistic opportunities that reaffirms RIT’s commitment to growing and sustaining a diverse and inclusive learning, living, and working environment. I currently serve as the Multicultural Student Life Coordinator. My work strives to enhance all aspects of student life for multicultural communities on campus. That includes crafting programs for the cultural heritage months, working with the multicultural Greeks like N.A.L.F.O. and N.P.H.C. and AALANA Collegiate Association amongst other clubs and organizations. I simply love what I do! My work with the faculty, staff and students at RIT has been so rewarding and exciting. I am very blessed.
If you have any questions about cultural programming, multicultural Greek life or just simply want to chat and introduce yourself, stop on by! I look forward to providing you with any assistance I can! I always have some candy or other treats in my office too!
Outside of work, I enjoy acting, movies, traveling, writing, and spending time with my family and Hermanas. I am a native Dominicana from Washington Heights in Manhattan, NY, but I have been living in Rochester since I was 9 years old. I speak fluent Spanish and Spanglish! I am also having a lot of fun learning ASL.
I am typically available from 9am-5pm Monday-Friday. You can see me running around campus from or to different events so you can also meet with me after office hours by appointment. Students are able to just drop by my office with brief questions; however, for a more focused meeting, please contact the Center for Campus Life to schedule an appointment (475-7058).
