Chief Financial Director: Ashley Carrington
My name is Ashley Carrington and I am a second year Accounting major with a dual minor in Finance and Management Information Systems and a concentration in Communications.
After holding various executive board positions where I was both exercising financial management and practicing leadership in a professional business fraternity and the accounting club on campus I built a strong knowledge of rules and regulations that applied to different aspects of the RIT community. Systematically taking on an accounting job on campus while making sure that I am heavily involved in the Rochester community through community service, I knew that ACA would be the perfect fit for me!
As the Chief Financial Director of the AALANA Collegiate Association my primary goal is provide aid to clubs, organizations, fraternities and sororities on campus who have made a conscious decision to host an event that depicts the AALANA community in a positive light. I will also be working with the ACA E-board to create effective, well thought up events that represent the AALANA community. I plan on accomplishing these goals by working hand in hand with the remaining eight E-board members and our advisor to make sure that ACA is properly managing our funds which will intrinsically better the RIT community. As a student leader on campus my promise to both our affiliates and RIT is to make a mindful effort to always work my hardest to serve as a positive representation of the AALANA community.
