K2GXT is the Rochester Institute of Technology's
amateur radio club. The club encourages many different activities
within the amateur radio hobby such as talking on our radio
"repeater" to other radio operator around Rochester, talking with
other amateur radio operators in distant countries, and
experimenting with electronics. K2GXT has been active for over 50
years, with a history of embracing the creative engineering minds of
RIT students. We are a group that is always involved in a variety of
projects and activities, something new and exciting is always going
on. Our main club room is located in the SAU (Student Alumni Union),
04-A091, and contains most of our radio equipment. The club is able
to operate most of HF as well as 2m and 70cm. K2GXT holds a
project/general meeting every Saturday in the SAU Club room
(04-A081) in room at 11am. We also hold a monthly "Presentation" and
