Amateur Radio Club - K2GXT

It's not hard at all to get involved with the RIT amateur radio club (K2GXT) and you don't need any prior experience with amateur radio. We welcome students and faculty with any interest level to the club. Please feel free to contact us by e-mail, phone, IM, or any other contact method listed on the "Contact" page. You can also attend one of of weekly meetings in the SAU Club room every Saturday at 11am, check out our "Meetings" page). We also have a monthly Business/Presentation meeting in building 9 (KGCOE) (Check our calendar!), K2GXT holds special presentations each month on a variety of topics. We also have other "Special" meeting time such as operating times where we will be in the club room under the SAU.

Look for K2GXT during "Club Days" at RIT either in the RIT Field House or Student Alumni Union (SAU). We make an effort to attend every club day offered. Come talk to us, we will be glad to explain amateur radio and our participation in it. We will also inform anyone of the benefits of joining K2GXT.

If your not sure what amateur radio or K2GXT is and want to explore, we will help you out! K2GXT has many opportunities, events, and equipment to supply a wide range of things to do throughout a variety of areas. Once the radio "bug" has bitten, it quite hard to not find something new to try out!
