Meeting 1-20-10 QSL Cards

E-mail Print PDF
The K2GXT meeting in Room 3119 of building 9 (Kate Gleason College of Engineering) was very successful and set the stage for the general direction of the club for the remaining year. We ended the meeting with several members helping fill out a handful of QSL cards to send to those who have recently sent us QSL cards

Unfortunately the photos were taken with a cell phone so the quality is low.

This was a low-key social get together that many members enjoyed. All K2GXT members or interested members are encouraged to attend whether students, faculty, or staff. Future social gatherings will be announced via the K2GXT email list as well as at the weekly club meetings.

Wednesday Meeting 22-10-09

E-mail Print PDF

Members,

We had a light showing for the most recent meeting with a lot of members busy with homework but we were still able to discuss several topics.

Satellite Rotor

Justin Morse (KD8DYG) and Jameson Finney (KI4JOA) measured the cable length of the satellite station to be 142 feet from the club room to the base of the tower. We are currently looking at the different options of cable that we have and their price ranges.

 HF Rotor

The rotor in the club room is being checked as a possible replacement
